2Random Photo Memory: Thai Floating Village Child
More digital photog fun here… This, a (originally in Kodachrome, well o.k. Fujichrome – Velvia to be exact – which was my main-squeeze slide film at the time) COLOR pic taken on my long ago first trip to Thailand.
But… when I discovered the nifty Spot Color app from LiquidThought (as I recall it was a free app at the time, but I dare say is well worth the buck.99 it is today), I couldn’t resist turning it (and several other images) into black/white, and then using the app to “paint” in color on the sweet Thai child.
(Note: I’m presently publishing this from Singapore, after 3 weeks wandering about the Land of Oz – this afternoon I fly “home” to Vietnam, and will have lots of tales to tell (not to mention more than 1,000 pics to wade through!)
Happy Thanksgiving, Sis. We are going out to dinner. Robt’s daughter SIL and 2 grandkids (3 and 2 mo) plus his son are here and we’ll all go to local eatery hosting an rsvp dinner tomorrow. 1st time in decades, I’m not cooking on TGday.
Very nice effect!
