8Random Photo Memory: On Safari at Kruger National Park
Although this RPM image was taken on a completely different continent, (a most impressive specimen of an African elephant snapped while I was on safari in Kruger National Park, South Africa) if you think instead, of the (much smaller eared) “Asian” variety of pachyderm, then today’s Random Photo Memory offers a hint to the TravelnLass’ next romp in…
Can you guess which country?
Think: “Land of a Million _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _” (do take a guess in the comments, please)
We will also be in Laos in mid-February! We’re escaping the chaos that is Chinese New Year by heading to Laos and Cambodia. If our dates overlap we should try to meet up!
Woo-hoo! It would be GREAT to meet up. Hopefully our dates will coincide: I just nailed down my air – will be in Luang Prabang from the 12th til the 26th. Do let me know when/where you’ll be.
btw, the dates for the Elephant Festival in LP are the 17th, 18th and 19th.
YAY, our dates in LP will overlap! Email me at ferretingoutthefun@gmail.com or follow me on Twitter so we can DM. Looking forward to meeting up!
YAY!! Check you inbox. 😉
Laos?
LOL Paul – that was quick! Yup, Laos it is come mid February. My last multi-week fling before I hunker down here in Dalat to teach for 6 months. Stay tuned for the tale of my adventures in “The Land of a Million Elephants”.
I want to see a group photo of all those elephants. 😉
By the way, I think I spy a typo in this post’s title.
Thanks for the heads-up Paul (i.e. “Natiional”) all fixed now.
And yes, yes, hopefully a slew of pachyderm pics.
